What if one of the most powerful demons that ever existed found its way back to earth today after being exorcized over two thousand years ago by none other than Jesus Christ? That is the premise of my novel, Struck by Lightning.
As the story in the Bible goes, Jesus Christ exorcised an evil spirit whose name was Legion, a powerful demon comprised of thousands of evil entities, and sent it into a herd of pigs in a nearby field. As the demons entered the pigs, the animals went crazy and stampeded over a cliff to their death into a lake below. My story picks up with Legion as this demonic monster is now poised to re-enter earth after crawling back from Hell where Jesus had sent it. Legion has built up its strength over these two thousand-plus years by absorbing millions of lost souls in Hades to serve as demons in its now massive army.
And now – it’s payback time.
My novel appeals to those who are reading more and more “spiritual fiction” but set within the genre of supernatural literature. It's my way of doing a little "seed planting."
